Very old riempie stool - unusual in that it has three divisions and attractively shaped legs. I suspect that the legs are stinkwood and maybe the frame as well - I am no expert, but the wood definitely has the stinkwood 'glow'. The stool has been repaired in the past - one of the corner joins has a neat repair where some other wood has been used. It has been neatly done - adds to the character of the piece. The riempies are new, but have been done properly ie tight, no nails, just neat joins and knots. Dimensions: Top - 82cm x 31cm, 35cm high.
