USA Standing Liberty Quarters (Tokens) 1916-1930

We have received 3 boxed sets entitled as follows: -

  • Barber Silver Quarters. The Complete Set 1892-1916.
  • Standing Liberty Silver Quarters. The Complete Collection 1916-1930 (This set).
  • Washington Silver Quarters. The Complete Collection 1932-1964.

We do not know why these sets were manufactured but suspect they provide a sample set for collectors to replace with original coins. In terms of looks, weight and size the coins are extremely close to the original issues but they were not struck in silver. We are thus selling them as token sets. This set is missing the 1916 issue and the 1stst variety of the 1917 set of 3 coins. (4 coins are thus missing from the set).
