The presented USB-DMX interface allows to control DMX-compatible lighting systems of a PC
from using the software.
This purpose, the device provides both a DMX output as well as a DMX input, which can process
512 channels simultaneously.
By selecting different operating modes can be set to the DMX input data generated by PC or a
data stream to the DMX output. Of course, and DMX input and PC data are combined in the
interface and the DMX input can be transmitted from the controller to the software. The complete
DMX transceiver part is isolated (max. 1000V) from the rest of the circuit separately.
When output signal can be interbyte, interframe, Mark and Break Time and also set the channel
number and the start byte. This makes it possible to operate also not 100% DMX-compatible
devices with the interface.
In Repeater mode, the interface can also adjust the timing of the incoming DMX signal is used as
the outgoing signal is generated again with the adjusted timing values.

2 . The control on the PC side is a dll file. It provides functions to communicate with the
connected interfaces. There can be up to 32 interfaces to connect to a computer, of course,practically limits the transmission capacity of the number of USB. Development of the source code available again easy integration into your software possible
