I can only apologise for only responding now but my Pc has been out of order for quite some time and I only became aware of this now. I can honestly say that the Cd player was in perfect working condition when I last used it,which was about a month prior to selling it.Why it was jumping, I dont know. I can only presume that something got damaged in the handling before you received it from your cousin in J.H.B. I did tell him that he was welcome to try it before paying for it,which he declined.
