After contacting the seller I was told that the phone which was advertised as been in very good condition, did not work at all.
To date I have not received any information from the seller as to whether the phone is fixed, or even exists.
Murphy's Law - the phone did not switch on after the auction. I told the buyer on 16/07/03 about this and that I would have the phone checked out by the supplier. This was done (at my expense) and I informed the buyer on 23/07/03 that the phone would cost more to repair then it was worth . The buyer's last statement is not true - there was communication and the phone does exist (the job card dated 16/07/03 is available as evidence). Responded 01 Aug 2003
Regrettably, the seller discovered after the auction closed that this was a 6210 model and older than he originally stated. He offered it to me at a lower price but I could not accept. I believe that this was a genuine error, hence the neutral rating.
