This remote has an automatic search function as well as a manuaul serach for tvs. Every single universal remote in the world is a pain to set up intially.The product works well and has been received well by 99.9% of the customers who have received it.
the automatic search is limited. the manual search is painful as u admitted. the manual wording is ambiguous and poorly worded and illustrated. no dvd key on remote. does one wait for the led to stop blinking to continue search? which device power button must be on? will contact seller to get online/tel support.
