A fly-by-night opportunist operating from a virtual office. Does not return calls, faxes, e-mails, or SMS¿¿¿s. Item not new or same spec as advertised. He admitted in writing that he did not check the specs but accepted the word of the client from whom he traded the machine. Clearly not a new unit! I agreed to keep item for R1000 discount but have not yet received the refund. The matter was taken up with BoB who was also unable to contact him & I believe his account has since been suspended.
The Product sold was different from the one advertised. (missing recording function etc.) I contacted the seller and "he will get back to me" about this.. Im still waiting 3 weeks afterwards even if just for a "sorry we made a mistake" ... Its not a major difference , but still it feels that i was sold a product of lower value than the one that was advertised.
Otherwise the sale went down smooth. As soon as I paid and the package was sent.
This seller should be banned from selling on BoB.
You can never get hold of him telephonically.His telkom line always gives a fax signal and his cellphone rings but he never answers.You always get his voice mail to leave a message which is never returned anyway.Windows Xp validation procedure FAILED.

the pic was slightly misleading but the specs were exactly as specified. the charger i got is generic and not an original acer one. does the job tho gets very hot. seller difficult to get hold of by phone but much easier by email. when finally got hold off he was friendly and. yet to receive the invoice for the purchase to retain for the warranty. overall as long as the seller can uphold the one year warranty i believe the deal was a very good one and true value for money.
Very bad service.Bought a laptop on the 23 Dec, he emailed back with payment details and paid him within a hour.He said the tracking details will be sent as soon as it ships.I am still waiting for the tracking details.I¿¿¿ve sent countless emails with no replies and numerous phone calls which he doesn¿¿¿t bother to answer.He answered once and said he would get back to me the same day, been waiting for this phone call for over a week now.I have requested a refund as I think this is unacceptable.
Very difficult to communicate with this seller.Goods in good condition but could not verify information needed to register warantee.No carrycase as advertised.My personal opinion is that this a one man show trying to give the impression of running a big business.Sorry Rash but before you learn how to communicate with your potential buyers I can not give you a positive rating.
You ordered your machine on 31 December, 1st Jan was a public holiday as well. You tried to collect the machine at 5am on 2cnd Jan, which we could not do, and then to make this up to you we shipped your order to you on 2cnd jan FOR FREE, which you received on the 3rd Jan 06. Bought over the festive season. Worrying absence of communication for an electronics company. Fax not working, delayed response to email or voicemail (2-3 days) once payment made.
Product had a fault that had to be rectified by Acer.
Repair costs refunded by seller.
Sorry - won't be buying here again.
This order was shipped to you during Xmas, hence the lack of communication and our offices was closed at that time anyway. Your charger had a fault which was replaced by Acer at OUR cost, and speedily as well. That should say something about our service despite it being xmas week and our offices being closed. Deal went through quickly and efficiently, item received was as advertised. Only slight gripe I have is that the item has 1 dead pixel (not that noticeable though). Also, Launchzone never answered a simple query I placed with them...
Other than that, I have no real complaints otherwise.
The seller refused to give directions to view the article and insisted on delivering the goods once payment had been transferred. He also refused to give engine and chassis to verify that the goods were not stolen. Very poor experience.....and not trustworthy.
I can't give you any info or do any business with bank cheques after business hours as there is no way to confirm the validy of the cheque. In past experiences, bank cheques have come up fraudulent and I rather pass on the whole deal then take a chance and stand to loose R33000 on a quad bike. no firewire, bluetooth or s-video out on the notebook as advertised and the right speaker is faulty, but still a very good good price, it's in excellent condition and i am happy with it. the launch zone guys are friendly and helpful and got the notebook delivered to me quickly. Were it not for the missing features that were advertised i would have given a better rating, but still good none the less and i would buy from them again after double checking the specs of my purchase with them.
I bought a Plasma Screen from this Person, he advertised it was almost brand new and had a 2 year warranty, after having the Plasma for 1 month it developed a fault and was sent to Samsung on a warantee claim. The claim was rejected (R17000) as it was over 3 years old and a Grey Import! Don't trust him - I see him in court!
This is a non-sense comment. The user panderson is a fraudulent user who has sent another screen to Samsung and used our invoice to claim and get Samsung to honour the warranty. SELLER'S BE AWARE OF THIS CROOK! Responded 14 Dec 2005
