I've promptly paid the seller via EFT but no response no news of when shipment will be taking place. To my dismay it seems that he's ripped off a whole bunch of other BOB users.
What sort of legal action can one take ?
Open fraud cases and forward your details to the following person: Mark Gavin, Cell Number: 083 2555927. He's a PI contracted by the real Martin Steel to catch the fraudsters. He needs these details. You will get your money back or they will go to jail - no other way out. He volunteered to be the liason for us all. The fraudsters are 3 young men, and a 17 year old girl, drugs involved. Wes Aspinalls was another one Disabled from Wynberg. Prosound. I see another aspinalls from Tswane was blacklisted last year. Proberly the same person moved down to cape town.
Paid R707.00 promptly for two items. Have not heard a word since payment was sent despite several telephone calls and emails. Have been advised by bid or buy to pursue a small claims court action.

This seller is un-contactable!!!!!! I've been taken for a ride with this transaction but what the hell, every dog has his day, i am opening a case of fraud and when the hand of justice gets to you!!! you will get what you deserve, people work hard for their money and then someone like you just takes it.
This is a fraud, paid for purchase as per email from Martin and nothing was ever sent, cannot get hold of him on cell phone either. Have opened a charge of fraud against him with the police, they will track via banking details. Bid or Buy customers, please be careful, this is sad that such dishonest people have come onto Bid or Buy, it always had a reputation for secure purchases, has now changed my whole opinion about Bid or Buy now.

One of the other buyers has been in contact with the residents-clear case of identity theft as well.

I have also not paid, simply because I requested a land-line number and none was forthcoming, after that the e-mails also stopped. A real M Steel lives at this address, I have his landline # but to date there has been no answer. Will update as soon as I have reached this person.
From the start I immediately smelled a rat with this purchase. I did not pay over any money as the response to me emails was not Cosher. Still did not receive my item. Being a member of Bidorbuy for quite some time, you become "clever". Mr Seller, I think you just wanted to make some quick bucks for Christmas!!! This is called Fraud! Seller requested I pay for the goods immediately so that shipment will go out same day. It is a day later and user is not responding to emails and his phone is always off. I have bad news for you MR. If I receive nothing by MONDAY I will put a case in for FRAUD. One can do so much with banking details. I will edit this rating if I receive my tracking number!!
I wanted to use THIRT with this seller but the seller had soppy story that he could not have a 7 day waiting period, since the amount was small I thought not all the world could be bad and I paid the full amount . I HAVE MAILED THE SELLER FOR TRACKING DETAILS BUT WITH NO REPLY BEST TO STAY AWAY !!!! FROM Mart_in
