Description: | WW II. One can not improve on perfection. By 1930 the Royal Navy "V & W" class Destroyer's were deemed obsolete after outstanding service during WW 1 and later against the Russians. At the outbreak of WW II the Royal Navy had nothing to replace the aging Destroyers with, and after a quick refurbishment send them into battle where they performed arguably even better than in their heyday. This is their story. |
