HERE'S A REALLY INTERESTING 1950s RETRO COLLECTABLE. EVERYTHING IS ORIGINAL ON THIS 'HOOVER DUSTETTE' VACUUM CLEANER (EVEN THE CLOTH - COVERED ELECTRICAL CORD AND BAKELITE WALL PLUG). THE 'DUSTETTE' WAS HOOVER'S COMPACT MODEL (INTENDED TO VACUUM IN CONFINED SPACES) AND THE MACHINE (WITHOUT BAG) IS ONLY 9 inches (23 cm) LONG. THE MACHINE IS OPERATIONAL, BUT THE BAG IS TORN AND IT MAKES MORE DUST THAN IT SUCKS UP AT PRESENT. BUT WHO WOULD WANT TO USE IT! IT IS SUCH AN AMAZINGLY DECORATIVE RETRO PIECE!
