Compared with the 812, the 908 has its biggest advantage. It lies in that the 908 can match Airbags under the protocol of UDS while the 812 can only read code, erase code and do coding, and it cannot match airbags.
The new models that VW launches now or in the future, such as New Bora and Lavida, will all use UDS protocol. But the VAS5054 currently used in the market doesn't support UDS protocol.

Please note: only work with the VCDS/Vag Com software provided (as the cables are linked) and should never be used with other software which has been downloaded from the internet , I cannot offer support if you do not use the software provided. Other software will damage the cable so they no longer function.
