Velbon EX-888 Tripod
The Velbon EX-888 Aluminum Tripod with 3-Way Pan and Tilt Head from Velbon is a 1.27kg aluminum support that has a load capacity of 1.5kg. The head itself has friction control, which adds or decreases drag on the 360 rotation and also for the back-and-forth tilt. At a normal stance, the tripod has a height of 127cm, but extending the leg's 4-sections and geared center column, the tripod can reach a maximum height of 153cm. With the legs fully splayed out, the center brace locks into place and provides extra stability.
To transport the tripod, it folds down to 48.5cm and includes the QB-46 quick release plate.
