I am pleased to offer for your consideration this beautiful Red Venetian / Murano Glass Vase.
This item dates back to about 1910 or 1920.
The Vase has thick gilding on its rim and the rim of the base. It has “frilly” transparent-glass handle detail. The Vase is decorated with hand painted illustrations of leaves, flowers and a lady with an open winged swan. The hand paintings are interspersed with gilding.
The Vase stands 20.5 cm tall and has a diameter of 7.5 cm.
The Vase is in Very Good Condition.
There are no chips, cracks, or restorations (See Photos).
The bauble at the bottom of the one handle detail has a crack inside the glass (manufacturing flaw).
This Vase is very old and was manufactured as two separate pieces. The join between the Vase and it base can be seen.
The gilding on the rim of the base shows some rubbing.
