Veronica spicata Seeds - Perennial

This tough low growing herbaceous perennial can be planted in sandy fertile well drained soil in full sun ideally at the front of the border where it can be appreciated. Amazingly dwarf, compact plants carry many spikes of brilliant sky-blue flowers, spreading to 40 cm. Cut it back in autumn and divide tired clumps to propagate. Mulch the soil occasionally. Veronica spicata is sun loving, draught tolerant and frost hardy. It is well suited to container plantings. It is also ideal as a focal plant in the garden. Tolerates full sun and sandy, drought-prone soils.
