VERY LARGE HANDCRAFTED DOUBLE HEAD GREEN AMETHYST AND RUBIES STERLING SILVER RING

Let's start by saying that this glorious large real gemstone ring is not for the faint hearted! The octogan cut green Brazilian mined amethysts are particularly beautiful - very bright and light with excellent clarity and together, a whopping 9,28 carats. They are presented in a raised minimalist claw setting, the four large sterling silver claws being part of the modern geometric design. The result is a handcrafted double-headed ring with the ring head slightly crossing over. The whole ring has been created out of solid sterling silver, the ring head design open underneath the amethyst to allow the sparkle of the stone to show. The shank is heavy and solid at the back, extending into a wrap-around design before joining the double amethyst ring head. The jeweller has claw-set small round Africa mined rubies (clarity IF - VVS) into the section of shank that joins the ring head to the main structure. The ring bears the hallmark 925 for sterling silver. It is a glorious, unusual and seriously over the top piece of jewellery!
