PATINA – BEAUTIFUL BROWN

MATERIAL - BRONZE (beneath the patina there is a perfect bronze cross) 

UNEARTHED: ITALY

SIZE: 35 x 24 mm

THE LOOP IS INTACT  

Constantine the Great made the cross a popular icon, when he said he was told by God to put a cross on all of his shields around 320 C.E. The cross was established in the 4th century as an icon of faith that signifies conquering death.
