Very, Rare and Collectible Vintage Riebeeck Coffee Souvenir Tin 1652-1952

This souvenir tin was created by Riebeeck Coffee in 1952 remembering the arrival of Jan van Riebeeck 300 years prior to the Cape of Good hope in 1652. This tin is in a used condition with a fair amount of wear consistent for a tin that is now more than 70 years old. It is remarkable that it survived all this time. Despite the wear the graphics are clear and the colours still vibrant showing Jan van Riebeeck in the foreground and the Dromedaris in the background. 

A very rare piece of Afrikana that would appeal to more than simply collectors of lovely tins.
