Product details
Early 1900's (1900 - 1934). A very fine rare example of the largest metal side rebate plane of this style produced by any of the larger well known makers. Its design was innovative as it is a combined right and left hand side rabbet plane with plane iron adjusters to allow the user to quickly and easily adjust the blades to suit the required cut. The nose of this plane can be removed for working close up into corners. [Note this I have not tried as it is fairly tight and I only gave the plane a very basic cleaning].
According to the website preston-tool-review.co.uk, This plane is considered fairly rare. The planes which command the higher prices are those in very good condition with all of their Nickel-plating and original working parts.

Excellent condition not refurbished, only given a basic cleaning. Condition as per photos of actual item.
