Description: GOBLIN "Teasmade" Model D28B. Manufactured in England (c. 1940's). Still has the original wiring and bakelite plugs. What is this and how does it work? This is a coffee/tea maker, alarm, watch and lamp ALL IN ONE! Set the alarm for the time you want to wake up. A few minutes before this (about 7 minutes) the water in the silver kettle starts warming. Once it reaches boiling temperature, the steam starts pushing the water out of the silver kettle into the coffee or teapot or holder that is placed next to it. Once all the water is "pumped" into the holder, the alarm goes off, and the light on top of the clock automatically switches on!                         Condition: In remarkably good condition for an item this old. Still in perfect working order, YOU ONLY NEED TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN HOT WATER HOLDER/TEA- or COFFEE POT. Also needs to be cleaned properly.                             Approximate size: 280mm wide x 220mm deep (base plate), clock part is about 240mm high (excluding height of globe, but including globe holder).                           Other: Colour of real item could differ slightly from that reflected on pictures. Please regard pictures as part of description.
