South Africa 1921 KGV 1½d postal stationery envelope used in SWA with complete 'WINDHOEK 1 APR 21' postmark. Very rare SWA usage.
The new 1½d postal rate was in effect from 10 March 1920 - 1 June 1921. The 1½ stamp was issued in SA during August 1920 and had therefore only
about 10 month correct usage as a solo franking. It is not known when the 1½d ps envelope was issued but some publication give the year 1921 as publication date.
This envelope is possible one of the rarest SA postal stationery envelopes used in SWA during the correct solo usage rate period
