Here on auction we have a very scarce and rarely seen SADF era pair of size 10 (rare in itself to get this size) issued genuine early SA SF Recce "waxies" flatsoled boots. This is NOT the later commercial used "tarzan" waxies boots but the real deal ;-)
These are the original early type issued waxed/ oiled leather dark grey leather flat-soled (from the factory) combat boots with a crepe sole - very nicely made and with a Goodyear (google it - the best boot construction!!!) welt construction (NOT like the std SADF era boots made for the masses!) - these are almost unworn and in great condition for theor age - ready to go!
Please look at the photos and compare (if you have) the layout of the leather panels and the soles and stitching etc to the std SADF era boots - these even have an issued "comfort" (orthopeadic) inner-sole/ footbed (as supplied from the factory!).
Confirmed size 10 UK boots - Recce issue (if these were ONLY size 9 UK then I would have never let them go!!!).
A great quality pair of full grain waxed leather boots that will give you many years if use, ideal for the African bush -tried and tested!!!
