DURING WW II THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT HAD TO BUY SOME UNIFORMS FROM CANADA FOR OUR TROOPS AND THIS WAS ONE OF THEM AND THAT IS WHY THERE IS A "C" WITH AN ARROW IN IT INSTEAD OF A "U". THE SIZES OF THE PANTS AND THE JACKET ARE CLEARLY MARKED.
