Very scarce ZAR ABW cover with Wolmaransstad cancellation in used-condition as illustrated above. The addressee on this cover, Thos. Leask & Co is the same company that did the handstamped overprinting of the famous 1900 Wolmaransstad overprints five years after this cover was cancelled (see SACC 1-9, p. 35). A rare philatelic jewel.
