Extend a VGA signal cleanly through your existing structured cabling. This VGA wall plate socket lets you terminate a VGA connection at a keystone-style faceplate, running the signal back to a boardroom, classroom or control point over standard Cat6 cabling instead of a bulky dedicated VGA cable.
Because it uses your existing structured cabling backbone, it's a tidy solution for projector and monitor connections in offices, boardrooms, classrooms and training rooms where VGA sources need to reach displays or projectors some distance away, without running a separate thick VGA cable across the room. It's a practical retrofit for spaces already wired with structured Cat6, letting you add VGA connectivity without pulling new cable runs.
A matching VGA-over-Cat6 wall plate or balun is required at the source end to complete the signal path, and cable length and quality of the Cat6 run can affect image clarity over longer distances. This product carries the retailer's standard warranty.
