Good to know

This is a one-way VGA-to-HDMI converter, so it will not work in reverse to take an HDMI source down to a VGA display. Because VGA carries video only, the separate audio input needs to be connected from your source device's headphone or line-out jack for sound to come through on the HDMI output.
