Via Afrika exploded onto a jaded and unsuspecting public in 1983. Fusing dance beats, whistles, chants, nu-wave synths, dub bass and ethnic rhythms, their eponymous debut album was an instant hit with both (white) pop and (black) African radio, a rarity in those musically segregated times. Released by EMI the album includes "Hey Boy" and "Chiggi Chiggi". The vinyl is in EX condition; sleeve has wear & tear around the edges plus ring mark and a sticker mark on the back-graded VG to VG+.

2^nd hand vinyl LPs are cleaned using a MOTH MKII Record Cleaning Machine and as a free service to all customers, are re-sleeved in new special anti static inner sleeves.

Shipping- All vinyl LP`s are wrapped in special protective material encased between LP sized cardboard sleeves and shipped in custom made boxes. All orders are marked Fragile.
