A Victorian era walking stick hand-carved in solid fruitwood. The handle is carved in the form of a highly detailed hand clutching a golf ball. The upper part of the shaft bears two carved golf clubs and is dated "1899". The styles of the ball and clubs are of the era. Please view the images above to see the skilled and detailed carving. Overall condition is very good with some slight age-appropriate wear in places. The walking stick is solid with an attractive, warm patina.
