Victorian 18ct Gold Seed Pearl Crescent & Star Necklace
This lovely quality, late Victorian, 18ct gold celestial, cable link necklace has an articulated 'fringe' section, set with eighty-three natural seed pearls. This section features, three crescent moon and star emblems, linked between sixteen short bar drops of varying lengths. This beautiful necklace is in great condition with a secure push-in tube clasp and measures 40cm in length, 1,7cm at its widest and weighs 14,5g.
The necklace comes with a detailed valuation, with a replacement of R79 300, a copy of which is listed in the photographs. (This was done by a very reputable Gemmologist but doesn't take antiquity and rarity into consideration).
