A rare 5th Dragoon Guards badge with Queen Victoria Crown in excellent condition.  Lugs intact.

The 5th Dragoon Guards was a cavalry regiment that dated back to 1685. Their most significant role during the Boer war was at the Battle of Elandslaagte. Their motto "Vestigia nulla restorsum" (Latin : We do not retreat).
