9ct Gold Brooch set with Garnet and with Enamelling

The late Victorian / early Edwardian large oval brooch is made of 9ct gold (tested no marks). It is set with a large oval cabochon polished garnet (19.7 x 14.6mm circa 30ct). The garnet is claw set in an oval setting marked with two rows of white enamel dots.
