This is a beautiful example of the metalsmiths art and craft in Brittain in the 19th century. A lovely collectable item, beautifully designed with extensive chased and engraved decoration and a lovely crown - shaped finial. Made by a silversmith known for producing quality items, this can take it's place as a prime item in a collection of antique teapots or even be used for serving tea on special occasions.
