DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	Bids are invited for the lovely Victorian Chinese cast and handcrafted brass temple bell you see in the image above. The bell is engraved with a design of a serpent (around the top part of the body) and floral images around the bottom. It stands 12.5 cm tall. It is solid and heavy and weighs 447 g. There are four more images and further particulars below. Please refer to the images as further describing the item and ask a question if there is anything you are unsure about.
CONDITION	The bell is in good condition with the engraving still nicely unworn, but the clanger inside was apparently lost and has been replaced by the nut of a bolt. It does still ring beautifully.

NOTES
A lovely piece of antique Chinese brass for the collector and the display cabinet.

The bell seen from the bottom, or open, end. Note that the original clanger was replaced with the nut of a modern bolt.

Shown with a match box to give an idea of relative size. The bell stands 12.5 cm tall.
