Hand painted Victorian Dresden china slop bowl. Good condition with no chips, cracks etc. +-14cm in diameter.
A slop bowl was used by Victorians during tea time and placed in the centre of the table. When one wanted a second cup of tea, the dregs of the first cup were poured into the slop bowl before the cup was topped up again with tea.
