DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A truly beautiful and extensively decorated HANDPAINTED BOHEMIAN GLASS VASE DATING FROM THE VICTORIAN PERIOD (c1880). The vase is made of thin cream coloured glass with the top section and foot surface - coloured in a dark ruby colour and it has a very artistically painted scene of cottages along a stream within a woodland setting decorating the central part. The scene is framed within a gilt overlay frame which has embossed borders and the decoration is completed with Images of flowers and foliage which extends around the vase. This is quite a large vase which stands 31 cm tall and has a mouth width of 14 cm. CONDITION	The vase is in very good condition. The hand painted scene and gilt decorating shows no pigment loss.

NOTES
A truly unique and very collectable vase in excellent condition. Glass items such as the one on offer here are scarce and very decorative. A lovely addition to any collection of decorated glass and a great investment piece.
