An old military style Victorian mahogany writing slope measuring 34cm by 23cm and standing 17cm high. The slope is in need of restoration. Most of the brass bindings have come adrift and will need to be replaced. There are a number of veneer chips on the edges, especially the bottom, and a piece of veneer missing at the back. Inside the two writing slopes will have to be reattached, and the secret drawer structure reassembles. I think all the pieces are there, but certainly the two pieces for the release mechanism and all the pieces for the two drawers are. It will look magnificent once restored. Please do not bid unless you are happy with the condition of this item.
