General information on the seller:

Roger England Antiques offer a full restoration and upholstery service from our workshops and showrooms in Durban. We have a team of top restorers with over 35 years of antique restoration experience. Please be aware that this service is NOT automatically included in the price of the items sold on Bid or Buy but can be arranged at an additional cost should you be interested. We do a large wholesale business to the trade and for that reason we show all our stock “unrestored” to allow dealers the opportunity to do their own restoration should they choose to do so.

Roger England Antiques has been an established household name in South Africa for 35 years. Roger started gathering knowledge in this field as a young boy working for his father running stalls in Portobello Market in London, 45 years ago.

Roger England Antiques has the largest stock of antiques in South Africa with shipments arriving from the UK 5-6 times a year. Although his business has grown considerably in size it still remains a family run business which offers very personal service.

Every piece is selected by Roger and the goods are vetted by the London (LAPADA) or British (BADA) antiques monitoring bodies and the goods are all sold with certificates of authenticity. We frequently ship goods on to other parts of the world and can offer advice to our overseas buyers.

Shipping and cartage are not included in the selling price, we do however have well established transport partners delivering throughout South Africa and will gladly assist you in arranging delivery at a very competitive prices. All collections are well supervised and we will ensure that it leaves our premises in good condition.
