Victorian Silver-Plate 'Apostle' Serving Spoons (Cased)
This wonderful pair of fine quality, Victorian, silver-plated serving spoons with apostle finials are in excellent condition and appear to have never been used. They were made around the late 1800's in Sheffield, England by makers 'Henry Wilkinson & Co' (HW&Co), who were bought out by 'Walker & Hall' silversmiths in 1892. The spoons have a lovely weight and feel to them and come in their original hinged presentation case, lined with blue velvet and silk. They measure 22,5cm in length, with a bowl measurement of 8cm x 5cm and together weigh 232,5g. The case measures 27,5cm x 10cm.
