Victorian silver plated fruit set - for eight

A very pretty and highly ornate Victorian silver plated fruit set for eight, unmarked by bearing an old kite mark registry of design mark for March 1876. The knives measure 22cm and the forks 19cm, large sizes for fruit sets. The set has been well used and there is evidence of wear to the silver plate, but it is still usable. Two of the knife blades and one of the forks show heavier plate wear, two of the knives and one of the forks is sitting slightly proud in the hilt but these are still secure. One fork the join is slightly loose but it is still secure. A most attractive set.
