Victorian Silver Fob Chain

Description:

This exceptional, very unusual link fob chain is hallmarked (links, T bar and catch) for Birmingham 1898. The chain is in very good condition, with no signs of wear on the links or catch, there is however a small piece missing in one of the large links. This doesn’t affect the strength of the chain and is hardly noticeable. It also has 2 small silver pendants attached to it. The one pendant has the wording ‘To commemorate the 60^th year of glorious reign of H.C.M Queen Victoria 1837-1897’. The other pendant is stamped ‘South Africa 1900’ on the one side and has busts of Victoria, Roberts and Kitchener on the other side.
