Victorian Sword Bayonet with Yataghan Blade for Enfield Short Rifle & Pattern 1856

According to an expert the bayonet is a “Victorian SWORD BAYONET, YATAGHAN BLADE, FOR ENFIELD SHORT RIFLE & PATTERN 1856. The pattern was upgraded over the years up to around 1880. The internal diameter of the muzzle ring would give a clue to its exact type of rifle“.

It measures 72 cm and it weighs 780 grams. There is an identification mark on the blade of which I took a close-up picture. It looks as if the bayonet was lacquered at some stage, probably to protect the steel.

I am not an expert on these kinds of items so offer a 100% 10-day money back guarantee.

Here are some pictures I took.
