VIDO Guest House is situated in Merrival on the outskirts of the historical town of Howick, in the Kwazulu Natal Midlands.  It is set in a mature park like garden with a country atmosphere.  Visitors wake to the sounds of a farm and birdsong.

Guests can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere on a spacious verandah which has built-in braai, pool table and relaxation facilities.  Rooms have access to the welcoming pool and TV lounge.  We strive to make our guests stay as comfortable and pleasureable as possible with tastefully decorated rooms: Cinnamon, lavender lace, Sombrero and Sahara the double rooms are en-suite. Each rooms has TV facilities, tea/coffee facilities, electric blankets, and some have a private entrance.  Breakfast is served in the spacious dinning room or on our patio overlooking the gardens and pool.  A wholesome breakfast is included in our rates and dinners are served by prior arrangement.  Ample secure parking.  

Howick is the gateway to the Midlands and we are just 1 hour from Durban, 15 mins from Pietermaritzburg, 4.5 hours from Jhb and 0.5km from the N3
