Vikings

In Michael Kiesling's Vikings, players compete for resources as each Viking settlement tries to build its presence on the islands surrounding the homeland. Each round, tiles with ships and lands are paired with one of five types of Viking settler: Warriors, Scouts, Nobles, Goldsmiths, Fisherman, and Boatsmen. These pairs are placed around a wheel that determines how much each of the sets cost to purchase. Players take turns picking out and paying for Viking settlers and newly discovered islands that will help them build their settlement and achieve the highest possible score at the end of each round.
