The Viltrox EF-FX1 Pro Lens Mount Adapter is designed to allow Canon EF or EF-S mount lenses to be used with FUJIFILM X-mount cameras, maintaining full electronic communication. The adapter features a detachable tripod foot with a 1/4"-20 accessory thread, allowing direct attachment to tripods or quick release plates. It also includes a USB-C port for easy firmware updates.
This 0.71x Lens Mount Adapter allows a full-frame Canon EF-mount lens to be mounted onto a FUJIFILM X-mount camera. The adapter's optics maximize the connected lens's apparent angle of view and provide a one-stop increase in the aperture range.
When a lens intended for 35mm film or similarly sized full-frame sensors is connected to a FUJIFILM X-mount camera, it projects a larger image than the APS-C sensor can capture, resulting in a "crop factor." The adapter condenses the light from the lens and projects it onto the APS-C sensor, effectively reducing the crop factor and providing an additional one stop of light per f/stop setting.
If the lens includes autofocus and camera-controlled aperture functions, the adapter supports these features. It also allows the generation and saving of Exif metadata when used with compatible lenses and cameras. Additionally, the adapter supports lens and in-camera image stabilization.
Constructed with four lens elements in four groups, the adapter ensures optical clarity and color fidelity. Note that this adapter is not suitable for use with the Viltrox FUJIFILM X-Pro3 camera and may scratch the camera body if attached.
