Offered is a beautifully preserved Nigerian One Pound (1) banknote issued by the Central Bank of Nigeria during the Federal Republic of Nigeria era. This iconic note predates the adoption of the naira in 1973 and is a true piece of Nigerian monetary history.

  • Obverse: Central Bank of Nigeria building, ornate red and brown guilloche designs, coat of arms, and Arabic script.

  • Reverse: Vibrant rural farming scene with a palm fruit harvester a tribute to Nigerias agricultural heritage.

  • Serial Number: B/3 468368

  • Signatories: Includes notable directors and the bank governor of the era.

  • Condition: Very Fine (VF) Moderate wear with no major tears, intact paper, slight folds visible. Color still crisp and watermark areas clean.
