 CLASSIC 10MM WIDE STERLING SILVER BANGLE WITH
BRAIDED ROPE DETAIL. 925

This simple vintage piece is easy to wear and reassuringly solid in feel. Not sure of the origin but it is definitely not a young piece! I found this one in the hands of a favourite London vinrtage jeweller but there are no hallmarks so not sure about its origin. The shape is slightly oval, open at the bottom, which makes it adjustable. The bracelet measures 9mm wide. It is 60 mm in diameter measuring inside the bracelet across the longest section and 52 mm measuring inside the bracelet on the shorter side of the oval. It is particularly solid and very well made.  piece is in good condition with olnly light buff marks to speak of its age. It weighs a really hefty 23.68 grams and bears a long line of hallmarks including the jeweller signuatre, the mark for British sterling silver as well as the more traditional 925, the assay mark and the date mark. I don't often stumble on old sterling silver pieces wtih such a great British pedigree! Its a classic, design, heavy and strong and well crafted.
