Vintage 18ct Gold, Pearl, Ruby and Diamond "Cat" Brooch

The circa 1980's brooch is in the form of a cat. The body is made of a cut-out double blister pearl with some of the surrounding shell. This is set in a cat-shaped gold bezel with applied gold whiskers, eyes, and collar. The ears, tail, and collar are set with a total of twenty, round, old-cut diamonds with a total weight of circa 0.20ct. The eyes are set with two marquise-cut rubies (circa 0.10ct total). There is a gold button applied to the back and the brooch has an 18ct gold needle. The brooch is marked "18Ct".
