Vintage 18ct Gold Pencil (Please read description and see pictures)

My jeweler had a look at the vintage pencil and said that only the thin outer layer is 18 ct gold. It is thus not a “solid” gold pencil. It has no identifying marks on it and I am not exactly sure from what period in dates from. It is 95 mm in length and has no lead (to write) included.
