Vintage 18ct Gold, Sapphire and Diamond Dress Ring

The vintage 18ct gold ring has a yellow gold shank that broadens to form a bowed, open-work head, which is made up of numerous, joined elements, some of which are straight and some are wedge-shaped. Several of the elements have a plain finish and the remainder are textured. The bowed head is claw-set with four, round, brilliant-cut diamonds (one approximately 2,7mm diameter circa 0.07ct; three approximately 2.5mm diameter circa 0.05ct each; all colour G-H; clarity SI. It is also claw-set with five, deep blue, round-cut, sapphires (approximately 2.5mm diameter circa 0.07ct each. The ring is marked "18CT".
