Vintage 1937 Souvenir Tin to celebrate the Coronation King Edward 111, Rown Tree Chocolates 

Vintage 1937 King Edward 111 Coronation Souvenir Tin, produced by Rown Tree York. The tin would have contained an assortment of chocolates. This is the Coronation that never happened due to the abdication in 1936. This is a great collectors item and a part of British social history.

Measurements 1.75 high by 5.5 in diameter.

The tin does have overall wear marks, scratches and rusting both to the inside and out. The inset metal coin on the lid which was removable has sadly long gone. 

This comes out after over 3 decades of storage.
