Description: A mid-century Swiss mechanical watch from the Langendorf Watch Company under their Lanco brand name. It features a heavily patinated silver/champagne dial styled with black Arabic numeral hour markers, a engine-turned sub-seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position, syringe-style hands, and a outer minute track. The dial is signed "LANCO DE LUXE / 15 JEWELS" and "SHOCKPROTECTED" above the sub-seconds register. The watch head is housed in a round base-metal case with extended lugs and a ridged winding crown.
Condition: Pre-owned/vintage project piece. The mechanical movement is currently running, though its exact timekeeping accuracy and power reserve have not been tested; a routine service/cleaning is recommended for regular wear. Cosmetically, it shows heavy age and field wear: the dial exhibits significant surface spotting, discoloration, and oxidation. The base-metal case shows heavy plating loss and brassing across the lugs and bezel, while the acrylic crystal lens has deep scratches and cracks.
Sold as a standalone watch head (no strap or spring bars included) strictly as-is.
